Our game is played in pairs, which is perfect for younger children who can be in a ‘team’ with a parent, other adult or older child.

Just so you can get some practice or in case you don't know how to play here is an example – numbers used for each part of the beetle may vary. The aim of the game of Beetle is to be the first player to draw a complete a beetle. The body parts are each given a number.

Players take turns to roll a dice. Each number on the dice represents a different part of the beetle. The player has to throw a 6 followed by a 5 which then gives them a body and a head. They can then get the rest of the beetle's body parts in any order. The first to complete a beetle in the room shouts BEETLE! and everyone else stops immediately. Score 1 point for each body part on your Beetle.

Highest and lowest score in each group move to the next table.

Highest score at the end is crowned Beetle Champion!
