FLYTIPPING WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A FLYTIP

DO NOT touch the waste - waste can be dangerous

DO NOT open any black bags, boxes or containers

DO NOT disturb the site: there may be evidence which could lead to prosecution

DO NOT remove anything from the fly-tip site

DO remember fly tippers are committing a crime and they do not want to be caught, do not approach them

DO visually inspect the waste, try to determine what the waste consists of and how much there is

DO take note of its exact location, or the nearest landmark
