Come and join us for a delicious supper at the ‘Watercress Bistro’ in Bighton Village Hall on Wednesday, 20th May where we will welcome the journalist and author Deborah Lawrenson who will provide us with a fascinating insight into her experience as a successful novelist, including a first-hand account about her latest book ‘The Secretary’. A tense Cold War spy story set in Moscow in 1958, told from the perspective of a bright young working-class worker recruited to MI6 on a counter-intelligence mission to uncover the identity of a suspected traitor. Deborah draws on the contents of her mother’s diaries kept during her time in Moscow.
