As seen in Big Gun!

If you have a moment, please consider completing this survey. There are also more details in BigGun. If this is implemented there could be a big impact on the amount of parking available in Alresford.

Have your say on local cycling and walking plans for Winchester

If you live, work, visit or commute in Winchester, tell us your views on new walking and cycling proposals for the area.

We’re running an eight-week consultation with Winchester City Council, (until Sunday 7 July 2024) to get your feedback on proposals for an extensive network of cycle routes across the district, together with extra walking zones for the main residential centres - these will be prioritised for investment in the future.

Information from Cllr Margot Power -

However, we now have Winchester District Focus Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) online consultation.

  • The consultation starts on Monday 13th May at midday and will be open for 8 weeks. The closing date is Sunday 7th July at 11:59pm.

  • The consultation is online using the Viewpoint platform. For those who do not have access to a computer a paper copy is available at the Winchester City Council offices and a computer will be made available to submit responses.

Please also find the link to the Hampshire County Council webpage below which provides an overview of the LCWIPs which have been adopted or are being developed in Hampshire. A copy of the draft Winchester District Focus LCWIP can be found here along with a copy of the PowerPoint slides used at the launch events, setting out the project context and how you can get involved in the consultation.
